Please describe the event:
- The Ethereum Community Conference (EthCC) is the largest annual European Ethereum event focused on technology and community, gathering 250+ speakers and over 1800 participants. Three intense days of conferences, networking and learning.
- EthCC covers many different subjects and addresses different levels of comprehension of the blockchain technology, through conferences and workshops.

How will this event benefit the ecosystem?
- Harmony will attend EthCC with several other projects currently in collaboration, including The Graph. Additionally, Harmony has committed to a Mithril sponsorship. With a presence at EthCC, Harmony will build awareness and knowledge of our project and others in the greater Web3 community.
- We propose canceling our venue reservation (previously paid) during EthCC. Harmony secured this venue for a “Harmony Hub” for $32K. Because the buildout for a launch of this size would cost around $100K, along with team hours needed to strategize and execute and staffing present at the venue, it is more efficient for our team to use our efforts on projects with a higher ROI. Canceling fees are $16,400.
How will you onboard builders at this event?
- Our goal this year is to build our community through our sponsored booth and on the ground networking. We will seek partnerships, investors, and developers in a relationship-building approach while utilizing our presence at EthCC and attending side events hosted by other chains and projects. We will absorb Harmony into the spaces curated rather than independently curating our own space. Additionally, we will utilize dinners and 1-on-1 meetings to better connect with targeted builders and discuss support and commitments.
