Bio & Highlights
Socheat started as a Software Engineer and worked on Java Springboot-based framework, does JUnit tests, middleware systems and data exchanges between SAP and Salesforce. He later moved towards AWS, getting AWS Certified, automated release pipelines, package builds, unit test, upload to repo, release to prod, basically CI/CD. He’s been in the IT arm of JTrust and SWIFT which are both in the payment and money transfer industry and is highly interested in working with on a high scale operations in the web3 ecosystem such as Harmony. He's currently a Solutions Architect at a crypto payment solutions firm.
First 3-month milestones
- Learn about the harmony network (Validator, RPC, bootnode, snapshot) to acquire the network fundamentals to start helping the team with cloud operation within 1 week from getting access to our cloud infrastructure.
- Help the team with Cloud Operations initiatives by first onboarding to be able to initiate hands on cloud infrastructure work such as RPC support, multisig services, explorer and staking dashboards, to support Harmony community within 2 weeks from start date
- Take ownership of cloud infrastructure in planning, provisioning, recommend architectural changes, make improvements on metrics and measure our cost footprint to help with our cloud expenditure forecasts within 4 weeks from start date
- Ensure all alarms are available, tuned properly and added to the right dashboards – all the while communicating on the progress and educating the rest of the team via gitbook updates and weekly ops updates, within 8 weeks from start date
