Creator
The Harmony “page” is an essential utility that will provide musicians, artists, entertainers, and other creators with the means to connect to their fans in the crypto space. This utility will allow creators to identify who their true fans are through purchases of exclusive creator NFTs, as well as pay creators through fundraising, or “total support”, opportunities. To involve themselves in this new ecosystem, these creators must go through the page process.
To sign up, the creator is onboarded either through Harmony led workshops or by their own means using the online web page app. Here, the creator is given the option to create a total support campaign via mint drop. The creator then mints their drop, edits their personalized QR code, and sets a time for the countdown to begin, allowing their fans to mint, until the time period expires.
During this process, the creator will watch as their fans mint the NFT and immediately they will watch as their total support grows in value as their fans mint exclusive NFTs. There are multiple avenues that can be made in this process on whether the mints are physical items (merch), care packages similar to NBA Top Shot, Mint my Moment, POAP, among others. At the end of the campaign, the artist will receive 90% of their earned funds in stablecoin (USDT), and the other 10% will be locked in Harmony ONE tokens for 1 year.
Fan
The fan’s experience when using the Harmony “page” is vastly different from the Creator’s. The key here is to make the process as simple as possible and to prioritize fiat purchases and expect little knowledge of crypto. Fans want to show their support for their favorite artists and to own exclusive collectibles, and this page will make that easy.
Whether online or at the venue, fans will sign up to their favorite creator’s campaign either online or through QR code scanning. Here, fans will provide their phone numbers and receive SMS verification to gain access (again, prioritize simplicity). Upon access, fans will be provided the option to purchase the various NFTs included in the campaign, or to order physical merch via in venue or online store. After paying via credit card, the fan will have their purchased items added to their address (via phone number verified through SMS), and given any physical merch (if purchased) either at the venue or delivered within 4 months.
The fan will have new ownership of an exclusive collectible NFT or merch, and will be notified that they have contributed to their artist’s campaign. After the venue, the fan will be able to go online and access their account via phone number and SMS verification. There are multiple avenues on what fans will be able to do with their newly owned NFTs, including: gate-access to future events, fan-to-creator chat rooms, virtual NFT signatures, and more.
Creators could have the option to lock their funds minimum 1-year, up to 4 to earn governance tokens to be used in voting pools.
