Bio: Rachel R Brissenden is an entrepreneur, DAO enthusiast & business development specialist who has started her own business and has experience working in the financial sector. Her work has led her to become fully immersed in the Web3 & crypto space, specifically within the Harmony ecosystem.
Experience: Rachel has experience working in the credit monitoring industry, as the head of business development and as a senior account manager, where she focused on onboarding new business, affiliate marketing, and team building. In this position, she learned to build relationships with affiliates, train a team of over 12 employees internationally, and helped double the company’s revenue in the span of one year. Simultaneously in this position, she educated herself on leadership & financial concepts. Through deepening her understanding in the financial field, this led her to grow passionate about decentralization in the emerging Web3 & crypto space. She additionally started her own business called “Elixir of Life”, and operated independently for 2 years time.
She now has experience event hosting, publicly speaking, & hosting webinars, as well as launching email marketing campaigns & leading business development initiatives. She has attended & participated in events such as "EthDenver" and "Affiliate Summit West" to network, publicly speak and make new connections, and has coordinated approximately 30 Harmony events internationally through Ambassador DAO since joining the ecosystem.
Education: She studied at FIT in New York, majoring in Fine Arts. She now applies the skills she has learned which has translated into creatively solving real world problems.
DAOs: She now works as a signatory on the Ambassador DAO working to scale global in-person events for Harmony, as well as the Sustainable Development DAO which aims to make Harmony a sustainable blockchain project through carbon credits to reduce our environmental impact. She also works closely with the Bridge Builders DAO to encourage community education & creation of lessons plans to assist communities in learning about Web3 concepts.
Purpose: Rachel is now focused full time on Web3 & crypto, specifically working on the growth of DAOs within the Harmony ecosystem. She is passionate about Harmony & decentralization, and aims to bring on DAO tooling to help grow the DAO ecosystem, as well as hosting events globally through Ambassador DAO to encourage community growth.
March 2022 Goals and Deliverables
Focus: DAO Tooling
- Research : Working closely with @Devin P. Marty to select the appropriate DAO tooling projects to nurture the growth of DAOs within the Harmony ecosystem.
- This stage will include studying these projects so that we can effectively execute communications to build new strategic partnerships.
- Create a process for determining who fits our criteria, and answer: Do we need to build?
- Establishing the Partnership : Once the conversation has been started, there will be three primary stages to establish & develop the partnership:
- 1st will be the initial solo conversation which will include introductions to our projects.
- 2nd will be scheduling a follow up call with @Devin P. Marty to get a demo on the project. (”Authentic real meetings” scheduling, and “Sales Accepted Leads” determined by Devin)
- 3rd will be conducting the final call with @Devin P. Marty and @Sam Harrison to finalize deployment on the Harmony network.
- Outreach & Communications : Rachel will be opening the gate of communication by conducting the initial outreach to each DAO tooling project found on the target list by Sam Harrison
- This stage will include starting a dialogue. The conversation will be initiated with the person that could make the decision to deploy on Harmony.
Overall Purpose
- Conducting direct communication with various DAO tooling projects which will allow us to scale and ensure smooth DAO operations. This in turn will help us to expand & grow the ecosystem by utilizing DAOs.
- By streamlining this process, we aim to hit our goal of being the home for 10,000 DAOs by the year 2026*
Day 30 Benchmark:
Community Efforts
- Assist Devin and Sam in forming new strategic partnerships and launching on Harmony.
- Develop & execute a repeatable process of outbound communication & onboarding DAO tooling projects.
- Nurture these partnerships between Harmony and these community partners.
- Consistently study & seek out new potential strategic partnerships on and off-chain to promote long-term DAO development on the Harmony ecosystem.
DAO Tooling
- Research current DAO tooling projects that will promote growth of the Harmony ecosystem through DAO development. Consider what we need, then execute based on opportunity & relevance to DAO tools that will help expand growth on the Harmony blockchain.
Harmony Team Involvement
- Being present for Harmony team events (such as weekly office meetings & TGIs) while staying up to date on current projects, and actively assisting when applicable to my role. Involvement will include conferences such as EthDenver, as well as crypto networking opportunities and Harmony-specific events.
Deliverables:

- Review and revise partnerships as needed, revisit strategies and determine what is working, and constantly identify what can be improved upon as we go. Refocus as needed with regard to DAO needs within the community.
- Follow-through & maintain relationships with established partnership that are in alignment with current DAO growth initiatives.
DAO Tooling
- Listen to the community & consider the needs of DAOs within the Harmony ecosystem. Determine opportunities and missing links, revising and updating procedures as needed.
- Continue exploring new potential DAO tooling partners, projects, & services to while considering their utility on the Harmony ecosystem.
- Constantly identify any potential roadblocks and adjust accordingly with appropriate solutions.
- Bring on at least (2) relevant and strategic DAO tooling services to enhance Harmony’s DAO ecosystem.
- Continue developing and tracking progress through written documentation of the Harmony Ecosystem to create scaling opportunities for DAOs.
Harmony Team Involvement

Working on these projects will go hand-in-hand with the business development role, to actively be listening to what DAOs need to grow through active participation and observation, while setting them up with the appropriate tooling. While scaling events for Harmony, we can also incorporate more DAO-focused lesson plans, onboarding sessions & workshops globally to further our growth initiatives.*
