Difference between Yield Aggregators and Yield Farms
Yield Aggregators differ from Yield Farms by compounding the fees earned from the LP back into the pool at short time intervals. Harmony’s yield aggregators excel vs aggregators on other chains due to the low fees when executing frequent auto-compounding transactions. Another key difference is that APY is realized in the native tokens deposited, instead of a native protocol token.
Protocols make revenue from yield aggregators by taking performance fees and sometimes deposit and withdrawal fees when users interact with the vaults.
KogeFarm
KogeFarm is a multi-chain yield aggregator/optimizer that automates reward harvesting and yield compounding across hundreds of farms from dozens of yield farm platforms. It was launched in May 2021 on the Polygon chain and is currently also on MoonRiver, Fantom, Harmony and BSC. The unique value propositions of KogeFarm are the low fees (1/4th of competitors) and strong focus on security (completely trustless contracts, two audits, and a public lead dev). In particular, our fee structure is the only one that allows users to get more yield from using our service relative to daily manual compounding.

Beefy
Beefy.finance is a popular multi-chain yield aggregator, but has considerably lower APYs compared to previous farms listed.
OpenSwap
OpenSwap has a very interesting “yield aggregator - yield farm” hybrid. OpenSwap uses funds from validators to auto-create LPs for OpenX pairs and then auto-compounds the fees from those LPs back into the validators. A potential issue with this model is fractionalizing liquidity across multiple low volume pairs. However, OpenSwap is transitioning to updated model soon to incorporate cross-chain pools:
