Daniel P. & Mikey | Investment Thesis:
💙 Passion
- Community 🌐
- Team 👥
We are seeking projects with passionate communities that exist across multiple social media platforms. Communities that encourage participation, camaraderie, and education within the ecosystem. We feel the passion and mindset of a community is greater than their numbers.
The team should be doxxed and committed to building their project. The team should be closely engaged with their community; actively seeking opportunities to showcase their work through transparency and open communication. Building with a heads-down, project-first approach should be at the forefront of their mission.
💬 Projects
- Open Source & Ethical 🌟
- Project Types 🌱
- The NFT art-wave is continually gaining momentum. We’re excited to see the different ways NFTs can be utilized in the real world and engage with the teams behind those creative efforts.
- GameFi is another avenue that is seeing an explosive uptick in growth and public interest. We are hoping to meet teams that look to push the boundaries of what games can do on the blockchain. These projects should be game-focused with complimentary tokenomics and NFTs.
- DAO’s on Harmony are getting bootstrapped from the $300M Ecosystem Fund, but what’s next? We are looking to meet teams building tools to help DAOs become self-sufficient and more efficient in their overall operations.
We are seeking projects which are open-source and do no societal or communal harm.
🧠 The Team
🔭 Daniel Pagan: Technical Content | Ambassadors | Community
Daniel’s background is in Cisco VoIP engineering and support with a specialization in signaling protocols, Cisco IOS, and call routing traces. He spent 15 years providing senior-level support as Technical Lead for a Managed Services team of 13 support staff and direct management over our senior engineers. He holds a CCIE certification in Unified Collaboration (#25689) and acted as point-of-contact for VIP customers including NYU Medical, Ernst & Young, Bloomberg LP, Skadden Arps, and Mt. Sinai Medical. During my 15 years he closed over 6,000 incidents for 30+ clients, and wrote and held technical training classes on SIP, MGCP, intra-cluster signaling, UC security, and advanced call routing solutions.
Daniel began working to promote Harmony across Reddit and Twitter, took on a number of initiatives, and worked during his free time to assist various members of the team. As a core member, his focus is now on in-person and online communities with a goal of establishing recurring meet-ups around the world, act as team lead and liaison for the Ambassador DAO, assisting the grant review team with reviews and approvals, and to continue interacting with the online communities as a liaison to core team colleagues.
